In Memory of "Kowboy Red (Khemander Kody x
Sweet Khema) An
awesome horse, so eager and willing to please. Every one
just loved him. He made allot of friends, was US Drill Team Color Guard
National Champion in 2006, 2007 and Reserve Champion in 2008.
He
will be greatly missed.

In 2013 Bruce and Mira took
home Red's momma, Sweet Khema. She has helped fill the void left in their
lives by the loss of beloved Kowboy Red and they have given her a wonderful home.

Kody the Kid
(Khemander Kody x Sweet Khema)
Double Khemosabi bred 2001
black bay gelding by five times National Champion Khemosabi son and out of
a Khemosabi daughter from a Bask* daughter. Wow, what a pedigree! Pictured
here as a three year old, tall 15.3 and gorgeous. Perfect for the
rider looking for a tall athlete. Very gentle and wants to please. Natural
Sport Horse gaits and willing personality make him a perfect choice for
Sport Horse.
Congratulations to Nell Ward of
Sherman,
TX. As you can see she loves Kid, her new best friend!
They enjoy trail riding.

Congratulations to Bonnie Van Delft and her
Khemander Kody daughter, Kheno
Commanders Dream "Bonnie found this mare
several years ago and fell in love with her. She contacted my
husband a couple of years ago about some training. We took one look
at her, and also fell in love with her. She is gorgeous. Bonnie works
so hard to make her dream come true, working two and sometimes three jobs
to support her horse. We took her to the IEAHC show in May, and she blew
everyone's socks off. We had told her we thought the mare would be
competitive at a higher level, but knew she could not afford it.
Doug Leadly stopped by and expressed interest
in the mare, and said he felt she was extremely completive as well.
At the Regionals, she received a Top V in AOTH, which really was exciting
for all of us. Then, when my
husband (Pete
Rasmussen) took her into the open mare class, I thought it would take a
miracle for us to get on the cards with all of the "big shots",
but my faith in the judging system was renewed when Kheno
received her TOPV competing against some of the best in the
country. The entire crowd seemed excited that a little "back
yard" mare could be competitive at the Regionals."

Doris to love and enjoy. Shadow is black and growing like a
weed!
